Post Jam "Jam" Feedback Update

Was using some of my free time during weekend to update the game. Changes were inspired by the great feedback I got in this Jam so far.

Big thanks to all of you who commented their thoughts, ideas, critics and for your humble, encouraging words. My special thanks goes to Jay Kozzat, Jakub Slezáček and ComfyMitten Samuel - who gave me an extrodanary view into their impressions and experiences. And also congrats to omoide for being maybe the first player who made it to the ship and was winning the game!

Updates

❖ The fog of war is back! Finally I found a performance-friendly solution to uncover parts of the map step by step without frying the GPU of your machine (only the mushrooms and meat should fry in this game!). Reading signposts makes much more sense now as well as scouting areas. Also starter questions like "Where am I?" and "So much stuff! Where do I start?" should be easier to figure out now.

❖ The UI "Map" button removes all UI elements to give you a full view on the map. Click anywhere to bring the UI back.

❖ The temporary UI "Game Editor" button allows you to add almost any object at any place in the game (I am using it for testing). Spend yourself a care package or maybe even a weapon when you have the feeling that luck is not on your side (game isn't well balanced yet, so don't have bad feelings with using that).

❖ New soundFX give you feedback when eating, drinking, roasting food and when taking notes on the map.

❖ Inventory and Crafting menus are closing when you click out side of them.

❖ Support for wide-screen monitors: I added a background and border to improve the games presentation on wider screens. Boy, THIS took me so much longer than expected! But it turned out pretty nice, I think.

❖ Fixed some bugs I introduced with the last big update.

Hope you enjoy the updates - more coming soon!
